Blanchard Library - Art Display May 15, 2009
Currently on display at the Blanchard Library are 4 of the large scale collages created at a recent workshop led by Daris Judd at the Blanchard Community Center. Collages are 22" x 42" and created on wallpaper with many layers of paint, tissue paper and magazine selections. For a complete listing of classes and workshops being offered at the Blanchard Community Center, click here for schedule. Adult classes include materials and cost $10.00 each. Children's art and drama classes and workshops are free. These programs are funded through a grant from the Florence Wasmer Fund for Arts and Culture of Inland Northwest Community Foundation. Program development at the Blanchard Community Center is further supported by partnerships of local organizations including BASIC, Blanchard Arts Guild, Pend Oreille Players, Blanchard Stitchers and individual donations.
