Greetings to our new visitors,
locals and community friends...we are now official "cyber-
citizens"!
Our website will allow us to share with our members, community
and online neighbors what's happening in Blanchard.
We will have regular "News" posted along with activities and
events year-round. Check our
Community Calendar
for dates and times, and we'll be glad to post your
fundraisers and events; just send us an email to
blanchardnews@aol.com.
Artist: Chris Bishop - has lived in
Blanchard for over 30 years and is known from California to
Idaho for her drawings, paintings and photography. She provided this
website with all the photos and pen and ink drawings of
Blanchard. She is also known as the "Blanchard Mamarazzi" for
her photos that are frequently published in several local
newspapers, as well as for her work in history preservation for
Blanchard. Watch for more of her work here. Thank you from your
friends in Blanchard!
Editor: Barb Hornby - We
would like to thank Barb for her participation in the creation
of this website. Barb writes and edits our quarterly newsletter,
as well as writing many grants. She won a National award for
writing and editing a newsletter in AZ and very generously gives
her time and expertise to Blanchard. Her hard work and expertise
in many areas is a huge asset to our community!
